exam question on slumdog millionaire

"The ending of slumdog millionaire is powerful;for the narrative, the characters and the audience"

i agree with this the ending is powerful as it ties it together and adds a cultural input with the Bollywood dance and song. the narrative works out as it ends well after leading up to happiness in true Hollywood nature the ending ties up the circular narrative by all the three strands lining up the police investigation ends when Jamal goes to complete the final question on who wants to be a millionaire then the background story finishes when latika sees Jamal on who wants to be a millionaire and that leads to the very end until the "Bollywood" ending the ending becomes more liner as it lines up the three narratives it goes police  investigation then his life then who wants to be a millionaire. the binary opposites disappear as slum beats police and poor becomes rich Jamal wins proving the winners in binary opposites arnt always clear and they can change roles this also answers the enigma codes ad we learn why Jamal is on the show,Why the police believe he is cheating, wheather Jamal actually cheated and many more questions that the director , Danny Boyle wants us to ask.we find out how Jamal knew the answers he knew so the audience realised he was not a cheat we find out that the reason the police where arresting Jamal was because prem kumar did not want anyone to what he did. these conclusions contribute to making the end powerful as all of our questions are answered and the binary opposites are broken. the characters in the end can form into the todorov narrative with Latika signalling that she was alive and there for Jamal and Salim as the sidekick he sacrifices himself for her so that Latika and Jamal can be happy  i would say the villain is prem kumar at this point as he doesn't want Jamal to win and take over prem kumars title in conclusion i agree with this statement
